Embark on a two-day journey filled with outstanding experiences in the South of Vietnam, where you will take part in authentic local activities and immerse yourself in the region’s distinctive lifestyle, traditions, and culture. Cruise along tranquil rivers on wooden boats, sample freshly made coconut candy, and enjoy a performance of Southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Explore two of the famous islets in the area, each offering its own charm. In Can Tho, witness the vibrant daily life at the floating market before cycling through peaceful rural paths, breathing in the fresh Mekong countryside air.

07h30 AM: Departing from Tourism Corporation VieTourist office at 95 – 97 – 99 Tran Hung Dao Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, District 1, and arriving in My Tho Province at around 10h00 AM.
10h00 AM: Tourists will experience river cruising by boats on the Tien River. On the boat, you will sightsee rustic and natural sides along the river’s banks with Coconut Trees Lines, Stilt houses, and across a lot of Narrow Streams to visit one of four famous islands in this area (Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle island).
Continue the journey by joining the Coconut Candy Workshop, you can explore the process of making pieces of coconut candy and taste them. If you do not like eating something sweet, you can try drinking a glass of Coconut Wine. Then, you will walk around the island and go-ahead to a special place to enjoy some iconic Vietnamese fruits and enjoy listening to and watch artists performing “Southern Vietnamese folk music”.
Before having lunch, tourists will be divided into small groups to sit on a small hand-rowing boat to move to the restaurant at another island called Unicorn Island, while enjoying the very fresh air and tranquil atmosphere.
11h30 AM: Time for lunch! You will taste a lot of flavorous traditional dishes in the South of Vietnam.
After lunch, we return to My Tho by boat and end our journey on the silky river. We continue to travel to Can Tho Province.
02h00 PM: You will check-in at a standard hotel that VieTourist arranged before.
You have a long break time at the hotel and spend your own time going for a walk in Can Tho city.
06h00 PM: Having dinner at the restaurant on the cruise ship.
Afterward, the tour guide will give you some free time to explore food markets in Can Tho city.
07h00 AM: Get up early in the morning to eat breakfast at the hotel, then the coach will transfer you to the Ninh Kieu Wharf and take a motorized boat along the river to Cai Rang floating market. Cai Rang floating market is a symbol of Can Tho province which brings a colorful and bustle style of living. People come from different provinces will gather on this river to trade fruits, and agricultural products and earn for living. Besides that, you will arrive at the flea market, a noodle factory, and tropical seasonal fruits.
Last but not least, you will spend a short time cycling around the village and you will be attracted by green rice fields on both sides, a wonderful moment for you to experience as a local person.
12h00 PM: Lunch is served at a cozy restaurant in Can Tho or on the way back to Sai Gon
